TARIBO, Jim Kitson

Chief Jim Kitson Taribo, an elected member, represents Ukwa Federal Constituency, Imo State. He was born in Ohambele in Ukwa Local Government area on February 28, 1933. He obtained his General Certificate of Education, Advanced Level in 1966 and the National Public Information Certificate in 1980. He is a pensioner and public relations consultant. Chief Taribo served for several years in Imo State judiciary as a registrar of sessions in Magistrate and High Courts before he was ap pointed a Magistrate Grade III. He was Director, Imo Newspapers Board of Directors. 1984 85, Chairman of Imo State Wing of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, 1982- 1985. He is married with nine children. His hobbies are billiards and snooker.
