was born in 1930. He was educated at Nasarawa Central School, Toro Tea chers' College, Bauchi Teachers' Col lege and Katsina Higher Teachers' College between 1942 and 1957. In 1959, he attended a one year Local GovernmentCourse at the Institute of Administration A.B.U., Zaria. He also attended a three month course in Local Government in Britain in 1965 and six month course in General Administration at the College of Administrative and Business Studies, Kaduna Polytechnic, in 1966. He was the district head of Odegi from 1958 to 1964. He, however, relinguished the post of district headship of Odegi in 1964 to become the Nasarawa Native Authority Councillor for Finance, Development, Trade and Industries. From 1967-75, he was appointed aCivil Commissioner of the defunct Benue-Plateau State Govern ment. His port folios as Civil Commis sioner included Works, Establishments and Training and Local Government. He also acted for 18 weeks as the Commissioner for Education. Until his present appointment, Alhaji Muham220 madu Wada was the Director ofMEAC (Nigeria) Limited and Chairman of three Companies FRAMO (Nigeria) Limited, RAU-IMEX (Nig.) Limited and CREN (Nigeria) Limited. He is married with children.
