YAKUBU, Alh Muhammadu Danladi

was born on January 1, 1940 at Anguwan Gwandara in Uke Local Government Area. He attended elementary school at Keffi between the years 1950-54, and proceeded to complete his Senior Primary School at Laminga in 1957. In the following year he gained admission into the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina- Ala where he obtained his OND in Civil and Building Engineering in June 1966. Three years later he returned to the same institution where he subse quently obtained his H.N.D in Decem ber, 1970. Alhaji Yakubu also holds a Certificate in Management of the Institute of Administration A.B.U. Zaria, the Licienciate Membership of Construction Surveyors Institute of London (LCSL) and the Associate Membership of the Royal Society of Health (AMRSH). Between 1964 and 1979 Alhaji M.D. Yakubu helda num ber of posts in the Keffi Local Govern ment. He was Works Supervisor in 1964. He was also at one time Admini- strative Secretary incharge of the Local Government and Clerk to the Council. He was district Head of Kokona between 1971-73. He later worked with Tilley Gyado and Com pany before resigning in 1975 to form a very viable construction company (NASARA CONSTRUCTION COM PANY LTD.), in partnership with others. He was sworn-in as the Deputy Governor of Plateau State on October 1st, 1979. He ismarried to three wives and is blessed with five children.
