Alhaji Yakubu is a member of the National Party of Nigeria and represents Lafia Consti tuency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives. He was born on June 10, 1936 and had his Primary Education at the Roman Catholic Mis sion School, Katsina-Ala between 1945 and 1951. He proceeded to the Katsina-Ala Middle School where he was awarded the Middle VI Certificate in 1953. Alhaji Yakubu enlisted in the Nigeria Police 19o9. He left the Service of the Police Force to become a Senior Store Keeper in the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) in 1963 After a mer.torous ten-year service with NEPA Honourable Yakubu went into private business' Alhaji Yakubu whose hobbies are football boxing wrestling and political affairs has visited Saudi Arabia, U.S.A. and UK Married to Hajiya Rekiya on new year's day, 1963, Hon, Yabuku has five children.
