Alh. Abdullahi Muhammad Yuguda was born on 7th July, 1962 in Gombe, Gombe Local Government Area, Gombe State. He attended Tudun Wada Primary School, Gombe from 1971 – 1978, thereafter he proceeded to Government Secondary School, Billiri, Gombe State from 1978 – 1983 for his West African School Certificate (WASC). From 1984 – 1986, Alh. Yuguda was at the Bauchi College of Arts and Science (BACAS), Bauchi, Bauchi State for his Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB Examinations). From 1987 – 1990 he was in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria for his B.Sc. (International Studies). He graduated in 1990 from where he proceeded to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), in Dutsin Ma Local Government Area, Katsina State. Alh. Abdullahi Muhammad Yuguda started his working career in 1992 as an Assistant Registrar at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi. Between 1992 to 2003 he rose through the ranks to become Deputy Registrar. A position he held until May 2013 when he become the Registrar Gombe State University. A seasoned University Administrator, Alh. Yuguda is a member of several Professional Administrative bodies such as the Association of Nigerian University Administrators (ANUPA), Registered Administrative Managers of Nigeria (RAMN) and Association of University Administrators (AUA).
