who represents Zing Constituency of Gongola State in the House of Representatives was born in 1940. A christian by faith, Hon. Dominic attended the Yakoko Primary School from 1955 to 1958. He was a pupil at the Zing Senior Primary School between 1959 and 1961 and he also at tended Government Teacher's College, Bazza between 1962 and 1964. Hon. Dominic Yakoko holds a diploma in farm mechanization as well as Grade III Teacher's Certificate. He worked with the Ministry of Agriculture in Yola and, served as Councillor for the Zing Local Government Area from 1976 - 1979. Hon. Dominic Vontich Yakoko was elected into the House of Representatives on the ticket oi the Unity Party of Nigeria. Married to Regina in 1972 after a previous marriage, Hon. Dominic Yakoko has five children. He is interested in singing and reading.
