Hon. Gabriel Abidoun Falayi, a member of the Unity Party of Nigeria representing Ekiti Central I in the House of Representatives, was born on January 1, 1938at Ado - Ekiti, Ondo State. He was a member of the Constituent Assembly between 1977 and 1978. He was educated at the Emmanuel Primary School, Ado —Ekiti; Doherty Memorial Gram mar School, Ijero-Ekiti and Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, and he obtained the Associate of Certified and Corporate Accoun tants Certificate in 1969. He worked with the following organisations: Ministry of Communications, 1961; Ministry of Health, Adeoyo Hospital, 1961 - 1963; BP Nigeria Limited, 1965 - 1976 and Adelusi and Co. (Chartered Accountants), 1976 - 1979. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Mosesand Rachael Falayi, both farmers at Ado-Ekiti, have six children. He got married to former Miss Elizabeth Moradeun Odunsi, a school teacher, in 1969 and they have five children. He has been to the United Kingdom, Japan, India and Western Germany. He is a christian and his hobbies are reading and gardening.
