is a member of the National Party of Nigeria and represents Kachia West Constituency of Kaduna State in the House of Representatives. He was born on the 24th of August 1940 at Arigwan Gamo, Kajuru District. A christian by faith, he lives mostly in mission compounds in his youth and has been greatly influenced by his christian environment. He attended the Sudan Interior Mission Schools, at Kufana, Zankwa and Samaru bet ween 1951 and 1957. He went to the Kagoro Teachers College from 1958-1960, and the Igbaja Teacher's College from 1963-1964. He was at the University of Lagos for the Associate Diploma in Education Course in 1975 - 76. He was a teacher and subsequently a Head master between 1961 and 1976. He became a Councillor and was in charge of Health in the Council area between 1977 - 1979. He got married in 1965 to his wife Ladi Gajere, and he has seven children. His father Mr. Gajere Senior, a farmer at Angwam Gamo, and mother, Madam Atama, had three children. His father died when he was very young. His hobbies are gardening and country walk.
